The Austin Learning Centre is located four houses from the Queens Park Savannah which has been described as the “lungs” of Port of Spain. The Savannah is also the cultural centre of the city. It is a large park, about 4km in circumference, where people exercise, play with their pets, practice taekwondo and capoeira, or just sit and enjoy life. Many more games are played in the Savannah – even baseball is played there occasionally by the Latin Americans, Americans and Canadians who live in Trinidad.
The Austin Learning Centre is within easy reach of all the embassies in Trinidad. We are also near to:
- public tennis, basketball and volleyball courts (15 minutes walking)
- Our national museum (only 3 blocks)
- The Shopping District in our Capital (15 minutes walking)
